Open Schooling

We are located in central Texas, just a few hours driving time from most Texas eventing locations.  This makes schooling here inviting for a day, or a weekend, or a week.  Stalls and camping are available on the grounds, or accommodations can be found in nearby Baird or Abilene.  Click here for estimated driving times and distances.

Open Schooling days will be available whenever possible, but the weather and schedules do not always permit them.  Contact Adri for information and reservations.

Basic Schooling Rules and Regulations

All riders, when schooling, must be accompanied by an adult with a cell phone, who is not on horseback.

Anyone mounted at a schooling day must be wearing protective gear and medical armbands.  This includes:
  • An approved riding helmet with attached chin strap
  • Foot gear with heels
  • An approved safety vest when riding cross-country

A negative Coggins within 12 months is required for all horses.

  • All riders must sign a release and pay their fees in full before they may ride.

Please - check in with the office when you go out to school the cross-country course,
and check back in when you return.
